help getting italian citizen

I put the family tree more clearly

Angelo Mario Cicenia Scalzullo(great great grandfather) was italian
citizen
his daughter
Carlota Cicenia(great grandmother) was italian citizen
her daughter
Rebeca Lopez Cicenia (grandmother) she was born before 1948 ; she is
not italian citizen
her son (my father) --> can he get the italian citizen without her
mother take the italian citizen?

Dear José,
Please remeber that women cannot transmit the citizenship to their children born before 1948. For example, I will tell you my situation:

Great grandfather italian - born in the 19th century cames to Argentina
He is the father of my grandmother, born in Argentina in 1921. She can get the citizenship
My mom is her daughter, was born in 1947. She cannot get the the citizenship from her mother, or transmit it to me and my brother. But her brother, who was born in the 1950s, can get the citizenship, and transmit it to his children.

In case of male ancestors their is no problem.

I became a citizen, and know a little how it works. But your description was
not clear.
You say that Angelo's daughter was Carlota, and his daughter is Rebecca. The
question is who these people are to YOU. Please specify. Angelo was on your
mother's side or father's?

Question: Are both sides or just your father's side came from Italy?
Was your father born to Italians (citizens or not)?
When was your father born?
When did your Italian relative give up his Italian citizenship by becoming a
citizen of Ecuador? This is key.

My father was not a citizen, neither was his father, But my great-grandfather
was the Italian. I was able to show that the birth certificates of all, and
became a citizen. There was some rules, so let me know the answers to the above
questions. Maybe I can help.

I want to get the italian citizen , did somebody knows if i apply?
This is my family tree:

the italian is Angelo Mario Cicena Scalzullo(was italiana citizen),
his daughter Carlota Angelina Cicena (was italian citizen)
then his daughter Rebeca Lopez Cicenia(isn`t italian citizen)
then my father(isnt italian citizen) and then me (isnt italian
citizen)...

Is posible to have nacionalidad italiana(italian citizen) because this
family tree?
